Ana Grimh, CPDT-KA, CCBC-KA
Ana has a B.A. in Psychology & Sociology from UW-Madison. She became a certified pet dog trainer (CPDT-KA) in 2010, and a certified behavior consultant (CBCC-KA) in 2013. In addition to her Teacher's Pet duties, she is currently enrolled in the physical therapy program at UW - Madison. She was previously Adoptions Manager for Dane County Humane Society, where she developed a feline behavior internship/program. She is active in volunteering, curriculum development for class and private clients, and presenting at camp events for kids. Ana's training partners include a sassy Aussie, Cymry, goofy Husky, Jisa, and lots of kitties!
Emma has been with Teacher's Pet since March of 2016, and holds a B.S. from UW - Madison in Conservation Biology, Environmental Studies, and Community & Environmental Sociology. She has had a lifelong love of animals and became especially interested in animal training after doing the initial year of socialization & training for a seeing eye dog. After adopting her own dog and working through his socialization and training challenges with the help of Teacher's Pet, she became interested in learning to help others with their furry friends. Her training partner is an energetic German Shorthaired Pointer named Copper.
Sarah Miller, CPDT-KA
Sarah holds a B.S. in Psychology from UW-Madison, with many classes centering on animal behavior. She became a certified pet dog trainer (CPDT-KA) in 2016, and can administer evaluations for the AKC Canine Good Citizen, Puppy Star, and Urban Good Citizen titles. While always having an assortment of pets including dogs, cats and pocket pets, she naturally sparked an interest in animal behavior at a young age. Her interest in the training aspect of behavior was secured after interning for a dolphin research facility. Sarah has been with Teacher’s Pet since April of 2013. Her training partners are sweet and loving hound/pit mix, Leya, and silly springer spaniel, Echo.
Brianne Statz, CPDT-KA
Assistant Program Director
Brianne has been with Teacher's Pet for over 10 years. She has B.S. in Zoology from UW-Madison and is also a Certified Veterinary Technician, as well as a CPDT-KA. She has worked for several doggy daycares and vet clinics in the past and volunteers at Dane County Humane Society teaching shelter dog classes. Her training partners include Simon, an Aussie with a hearing and vision impairment, mellow Husky mix Finley, speedy Pomeranian mix Pepper, and crazy cat Joan.
